At the 2025 Annual Dinner, a night filled with celebration and recognition, one name stood out above the rest—Cheryl Harry, our dedicated Education Officer, who was awarded the Life Members Trophy for Most Enthusiastic Member for the 2024/25 season.

This award, the most prestigious and historic in our Club’s legacy, is reserved for individuals who exemplify unwavering enthusiasm and exceptional contribution throughout the season. Cheryl’s name now joins a distinguished list of past recipients—true legends of the Club—who have each left an indelible mark on our community.

Cheryl’s commitment this season has been nothing short of extraordinary. As a Patrol Captain, Trainer, and Assessor, she volunteered an incredible 146 hours of service. She played a pivotal role in multiple exams and led our Education Program with passion and precision—all while serving as an appointed Officer.

Her tireless efforts and willingness to go above and beyond did not go unnoticed. Cheryl was a nominee in three separate award categories this evening, a testament to the breadth and depth of her impact.

Despite suffering a serious injury in the surf just last week, Cheryl’s presence at the Annual Dinner was both inspiring and deeply appreciated. Her resilience and dedication embody the very spirit of this award.

From all of us—congratulations and thank you to Cheryl. Your energy, leadership, and heart have made this season unforgettable. We are proud to celebrate you as the 2024/25 Life Members Trophy recipient.
