Scarboro SLSC welcomes new Directors at 2026 AGM

Scarboro Surf Life Saving Club held its Annual General Meeting on the evening of Friday, 25 July 2026, with a strong turnout of members. It was a great evening, with a constructive discussion on matters raised by members and the opportunity to hear from the Board about its focus heading into the 2026/27 season.
The Club takes this opportunity to sincerely thank our three retiring Directors. Tanya Channell (Director Surf Sports), Matthew Watson (Director Finance) and Marnie Glasson (Director Business Development) each served five or six years on the Board, contributing an enormous amount of time, expertise and dedication to the leadership of the Club. Their commitment has helped shape Scarboro into the Club it is today, and we are grateful for everything they have given. We wish them all the very best and look forward to continuing to see them around the Club.
At the AGM, members elected three new Directors to the Board. Scarboro warmly welcomes Stuart Morarty as Director Finance, Joshua Madden as Director Business Development, and Sarah Moore as Director Surf Sports. It was great for members to hear a little about each of them ahead of their election. The Club also welcomes back Stelio Eleftheriou, who was returned as Member Services Director for the next two seasons. We look forward to the energy and ideas our new and returning Directors will bring to the Board.
The Board will meet early next week to progress officerappointments.
