The Scarboro Surf Life Saving Club proudly announced Megan Johnson as the recipient of the prestigious Liza Harvey Rising Star Award at this year’s Annual Dinner, recognising her exceptional dedication, leadership, and service throughout the season.

Although Megan was unable to attend the evening due to a prior engagement, her presence and impact at the club have been nothing short of inspiring. From earning her Bronze Medallion and IRB Crew awards to achieving Bronze and Silver levels in the WA Youth Leaders Program, Megan has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to personal growth and community service.

Megan is a familiar and friendly face around the club, often seen volunteering at a wide range of activities, including the Nipper and Starfish programs, where her enthusiasm and mentorship have made a lasting impression on younger members. Her willingness to step up and contribute wherever needed exemplifies the spirit of surf lifesaving.

As she continues her IRB training over winter, Megan’s journey is far from over. Her dedication to developing her skills and supporting the club community makes her a true rising star and a role model for all members.

Congratulations, Megan! Your hard work and passion for surf lifesaving are an inspiration to us all. We look forward to seeing all that you accomplish in the seasons ahead.
